As some have already stated... a tough looking card. Just very rough jottings etc...

R1 Brown has opted for the newcomer Hidden Gun but I don't think there was too much wrong with Dream Leader's debut and I think its decent e/w value.

R2. Frodo's comments are spot on imho. The two roughies I'll be trying are Banjo Bay and Neo Jet, neither with any great confidence. The latter was backed into odds-on favouritism on debut (turf) over this distance and though that was possibly "misguided" it may suggest there is perhaps some hidden talent. Jockey and trainer form though a big concern.

R3 The market would suggest its a 2 horse race and of them I prefer Sunday Spirit, but no way I'm backing it that price. Going to take a complete idiot small e/w chance with Al Aziz from the 1 box and hope she takes to the sand.

R4 I like Waley's Camp, just hope the trainer form is actually better than the bare stats. Two wins and a runners-up from 5 course efforts but only 1/18 on distance but has finished with silver 5 times. Decent draw and has the beating of Rivulet over 1800. With the draw swing, I prefer Rivulet over Bay Princess.

R5 Of the three I like - Motown, Funny Glory and New York - the first two mentioned have very poor draws. With the two reserve's being scratched, NY now comes out of 6, which though not the best is certainly not the worst draw. 2/2 over c and d and I think an excellent e/w bet today. A good draw may be enough to allow Speedkeeper to hold off Motown for second.

R6 Very open. I narrowed it down, with little conviction, to being between Memghar and Dennis the Menace, with the former getting my final vote. He has had a string of relatively poor draws over c and d and though his stats don't look great, though not the worst, at the distance or on course, when he did get a decent draw (penultimate run over c and d) he won, albeit off a much lighter weight. At the price, i think worth a small investment.

R7 Tough. Not convinced by Where's My Chop over this distance but not convinced any of the others will prove good enough to beat him. Men and Mountains and Beautiful Dawn may come closest to doing so.

8. Another ? race for me. Palace Town looks the obvious one but at the price I will look to oppose, possibly with Fast Day who has a decent swing in the weights from the last time they met on the sand.

Main bet... Semi-idiots e/w yankee... R1 3 Dream Leader; R4 2 Waley's Camp; R5 3 New York; R6 10 Memghar

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Frodo & Englander you have summed it up pretty well and I believe it is a tough card till for the exotics

My PA: 1,4(2) x 11,12,2 x 6,5,7,1 x 3,5,2,4,1 x 8,10,4,3 x 4,5 x 1,2,4,5

If there is one thing I hate, it is doing those drawlings and constantly checking Tabgold to check the ones I like have not moved in price... only to find once finished that those fa^^king useless t@^&ts have not been updating their prices!!!!

I should know better because at Tabgold it is has become a daily issue and they seem to me to be f@%king useless!!!! :X
