Imo if Welwitchia get to the start and is back to her old self, she would be very hard to beat - but the last time she was scratched after rearing in the parade ring and did not even get to the start - may be wise to back her up?
I'm taking a small percentage of the following P6 (trying to double up with scratchings)
1.3
5,6,7
1,4,5,6
1,3,4,5,6
1,2,3,4,5,6,8,9,10,11
1,2,4,6,9
Enjoy (tu)

Slumdog Millionaire should be a penalty kick.
If the horse is 80 % he will win and win easy.
If the horse is 80 % he will win and win easy.

You probably right, but I bet Mujaarib runs circles around him...

SirP... I see where you coming from, Last win was on Turf inside track and the going was good, BIG runner for sure but is almost 4 seconds slower than this field over the 1450.
Gman... Heavy Metal IF FIT could run them to pieces over this distance but if I look closer, JHB - KZN - VAAL now back to JHB, based on last run I think he might be a little confussed but worth a punt nevertheless.

Nice looking card, that being said we will probably see plenty bombs drop.
La Volta is my best bet on the card. Hopefully the rain will stay away for her and she seems to prefer the firmer going. She has been under sufference in her last few races being conditions plates and has run above her MR in these races and I feel she is under rates and if good going could slip the field and they will battle to catch he. Missed the 11/2 on her but managed to get 9/2. I have covered her in the Pick 6 as I will make enough if she wins. I will be taking her in a double with Slumdog who with 48kg's on his back on his Queens Plate run will win this as he likes. Took a nice double so if Slumdog wins I will be sweating on La Volta.
My PA today must be the smallest PA I have ever played for R9: 9 x 1 x 5 x 4 x 6 x 1,3,9 x 1,2,4.
My P6 for today is for R420:
Leg 1: 1
Leg 2: 5,6
Leg 3: 1,4
Leg 4: 1,5,6
Leg 5: 1,2,3,4,5,6,9
Leg 6: 1,2,4,5,8
Play well (tu)
