That, for me, is the big difference between average jocks and very good ones.....

Obviously chambers was told to have Jelani handy, no matter what.....He took on a SPRINTER for PE in the opening fractions. Even when chambers could have sat in behind the SPRINTER and been happy.

A top jock would just have settled the horse where he found him, not chase him all the way around the bend to try and match the SPRINTER!!!!

Oh did I mention Sudden Surprise was a SPRINTER!!!!

Tobe's Lass won like a 1/3 shot last time out... reproducing 90% of that level of performance should be good enough today. I reckon the Visser yard must have big doubles going onto Elsabee in the last .... has shortened dramatically.But 8/1 the Spies last double looks decent...
