LOL Madji, was just pulling his leg, he is in great form at the moment, I can't find a winner anywhere so need his help. (tu)
Should I ask Hibs to delete this thread.
{Awaiting rapid b!tchslap just hoping baseball bat does not come into play).

Engelsman has been in gr8 fom, and I like you are firing huge blanks and creating holes in my bank balance. Yesterday is the first time in yonks that I sat a meeting out. Did not even download the card or look at the fields anywhere.

2day is a day 2 recover all money back..
R1: wunout..very decent 1st run-was very green,but ran on well.
R2: passionate kiss..improving nicely..got the beating of Adella,so should win.
R3:Ruby Chimes..cracking last run, was giving a terrible ride by Work rider..he though he was riding Frankel.
R4:southern taste...all I can say here is .. SHIT IN

Another difficult card and no strong fancies today, will be playing small and hoping again...
R1 Have no great confidence so I think I will stick with the exacta SirP gave of Wunout to beat Pierneef. Going with the experience of Magic of Rome to be enough to fill the trifecta spot and the De Kock newbie Fairway Wood to make up a straight-line quartet.
R2 As RD mentioned there are a few bridesmaids in this one and he could be right in that a first timer could take it. But, I'm going with Adella to win and break that tag. I prefer her to Passionate Kiss based on the decent appie taking 4kgs off and think she might like the better going. Tzigane might be running on too late but fill the trifecta spot.
R3 Have no enthusiasm for the market leaders so went idiot searching lol... Asiatic Pearl interests me a little, turf form prior to rest was ok and though it is a huge break, her debut run was not bad and I really don't think there is too much to beat. I'll have a small bet but I've gone even more idotic and chosen The Good Life (very sadly Richard Briers - rip - passed away recently for those that knew the sit-com) as my main small e/w. Had problems coming out first two starts but hopefully that has been eradicated, no mention of it on 3rd start, and though has done nothing to suggest a much improved performance is likely, the fairly strong support on debut suggests to me someone thinks she has a little ability. Probably will place in the front 3 or the last 3!
R4 I agree with Brasss that Southern Taste is the likely winner but I'm not touching it as a single bet at the price, race looks much more open than that to me. Will go with The Sanquharian and Cherie's Boy to follow him home.
R5 Another fairly open race, I'll be on Pocket Filler which I think is a fairly decent e/w option, 3rd run after rest, ok form and a decent effort last time out. The one I was close to preferring was Soul Singer who, after a bit of a blip, seemed to return to form last time out. Back on good ground and a 1/2 record at the Vaal I think he could go well at a relatively good price. Master Entertainer could be the one for the trifecta. As an idiot bet, I don't discount Blue Spirit whose form over recent months looks poor on face value but looks better previously and "excuses" can perhaps be found if you want to find them.
R6 Think this is actually a very complex race (for me anyway lol). Cosmogenic looks the obvious one but I am going to go against her. There are plenty who, if it is their day, could win. Possibly the best horse in the race is the stable-mate Eastern Greeting and it is interesting that Larena is on this one. If she jumps and jumps ok she must have a good chance of a comfortable success but it would be a risk. I ended up with Tayba. Seems to run fresh and has 8 lengths on Altair (who is fairly closely matched with Cosmogenic) on their run behind Pacific Dynasty. Fair enough Altair may not like the Turf inside track or soft and may have improved considerably since but Tayba came from the worse draw that day and 8 lengths is a fairly sound beating. At the price I think it could be very decent e/w value. I'm going 6 x 7 x 1 x 5
R7 Again plenty with chances. I ended up, somewhat reluctantly, with Rebel Queen and Antigua and at the prices will go with the former. I will also have a small e/w nibble at Hotel Royale who showed some improvement when last on the turf and I think is a little value at big odds.
R8 Repeat... again plenty chances. El Cielo back on turf with the blinkers off is worth a look imo but I'm going with Romeo's Reward who has been fairly consistent and has 2 wins and 4 places in 6 distance runs and only been unplaced once in 6 visits to this course. Nice Stride for the trifecta.
R9 Just glad to get here lol... Tiger's Eye is the small e/w one for me here. Good penultimate run and may not have enjoyed the soft last time. Louis G and Striker combination. Not that keen again on the market leaders so going with Made of Magic and The Disciple for the places. Jannu is another I do not totally discount.
Glad that's finished!!!! Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

My form has been so bad of late I am thinking of giving today a skip. Very competitive racing.
I am only going to take one EW bet today which is in the 3rd, Jet Rendezvous, she is dropping in trip, where she ran some good races) is a decent front runner and if coming back to his earlier form should be a runner. I like the 12,5/1 a win and 16,3/10 a first 4. I am hoping she will turn my luck around.

Where IS that Engelsman - probably waiting for us to post so that he can edit his intended post
<
Another tough meeting today imo - some thoughts on the PA races:
R3: Ruby Chimes' last run does not inspire any confidence; I think if Moggytwoshoes can reproduce her efforts behind Brave Princess and especially Fortitude, she would be the right one - Nicety also seems to be improving and could be seconds best here.
R4: Southern Taste all the rage, but I'm worried it could be a touch sharp for him - also imo The Sanquharian and Matchless Flag may both prefer 1400, so I'm looking to Richard's Grace to put his best foot forward and cause the upset here, with Cherie's Boy also in the mix.
R5: Very competitve handicap, but Pocket Filler is always thereabouts, so should challenge for first again - however he always finds one to beat him - the problem is that most of the other runners have some sort of claim on best form - the 3 yr olds Impresa (runs like he will appreciate the step up in trip) Shadow Line (looks well in with the 4kg allowance) and Augustinus (maiden win form franked) must all have chances - and even Roman Warrior and Blue Spirit (who holds PF on a run back in March last year) can not be completely ignored imo.
R6: Competitve fillies sprint handicap; apart from Al Kindi (probably needs further), Coastal Cabaret (seems to have lost form), Joanie Gee (also lost form) and Carribbean Dream, all the runners have shout here imo - Knock and Announce nice each way value imo (but who is riding her - Juglall now on Eastern Greeting?)
R7: Does not get any easier - Antigua very consistent and should not miss a place, but not much between her and Rebel Queen on their last meeting - King's Bounty has some excuses in her last start and can feature with Bold Flash
R8: Imo Francois Bernardus is slightly over-rated and if this is a prep run for the Guineas could struggle to beat the consistent Romeo's Reward. El Cielo finished in front of Nice Stride last time they met and is now better off at the weights - so each-way value imo - Abbotsbury not totally out of it either.
R9: Boeing Boeing has really improved of late and won easily last time, so the handicapper may not have caught up with him yet; danger imo is Vulcan who must be competitive with the 4kg allowance; Stavinsky has also improved a lot recently (ran to an 87 according to my ratings last time) so could give some cheek, and Ophirton could also feature if not needing a run.
Enjoy (tu)
