Too tired to do a "blog" today lol but here's what I like on a tricky Kenilworth card and a venue where I have been pretty hopeless recently!

R1 Watch the market!

R2 Baby Be Mine was behind a few of these on debut but lost 2l at the start and was only beaten 4l. If the start is not an ongoing issue then she could improve nicely and might be e/w value. 9 x 2 x 16

R3 I would rather e/w Blue Train at 20s than back Seven Suns at 18/10. My main e/w bet though is just on a hunch that maybe Bonny Dancer is better than seen to date and if the appie can get her well positioned then she could have a fair chance.

R4 I really like the look of Caso Bravo. 3rd run after the rest and ran well last time despite a poor draw. Comes from poll today. Based on the form of that last race I've gone with Dan Patch and Act Of Faith to fill the places.

R5 A fairly open race with a couple of unknowns, primarily will Never Forever stay. Laurie's Gold gets my vote, decent recent form, jock in form and runs from poll again. Gone with Game Over and Cossack General for the places.

R6 Very tough and took me a long time to finally go against Red Banner completely. Count Emmanuelle my eventual choice to be followed home by The Professor and Here I Am.

R7 Smart Colleen and Mari to fight this out (or be nowhere! lol) and I favour the former. Beulah a possible for the trifecta spot.

R8 No great confidence again but taking a small e/w chance on Hold On Tiger who has run creditably last couple of times and may find the drop to her liking. Problem is I also like another front runner at a price, Adoreyoutoo and they may not do each other any favours. Shepherd's Purse to be the one to take advantage should that happen.

Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

Very tricky card today I am playing a massive PA (hoping for some results) and places on longshots listed below:
Race 2: 9 Baby Be Mine (20/1)
Race 3: 7 Blue Train (12/1)
Race 4: 8 Island Flyer (33/1) taking swingers with 9 Maltese Falcon (20/1)
Race 5: 9 Dark Journey (20/1)
Race 6: 6 Gallus (25/1)
Race 8: 5 Hold On Tiger (16/1)

Will play 2,5% of my R14,400 PA:
Leg 1: 1,2,9,16
Leg 2: 3,4,7
Leg 3: 4,8,9,10,15
Leg 4: 1,3,8,9
Leg 5: 3,4,6,10,13
Leg 6: 4,5,6
Leg 7: 1,4,5,14

Play well. (tu)

interesting, that the great and really brillant trainer joey ramsden obviously cannot assess his horses.
if u read his webpage, then abunch of his runners are "great", "working exceptionally well" and so on, he attends them "just do win" or to "finish in the money" and so on and they often loose if not nearly last like today.
it has maybe to do with his slightly difficult period, stable is going through, but nevvertheless from all big trainers his comments are the most useless for punters. think, he is too optimistic, loves his horses too much, maybe.
