Ivan phoned me this morning and said he was sorry on behalf of the jockey, that's twice in the last month and had promised me good jocks in future ( I only like Lester and Striker)

have you ever heard a trainer say im sorry i stuffed up ...its always the jockeys fault never the trainers

The ride was genuinely out of the bottom drawer i think.

Perhaps the jockey apologised to the trainer and the message was passed on.......OR......the trainer wants to keep the jock on for Bud's next run

I don't wanna break the young lads spirit but all I can say is if you gonna put your hands down and stop riding after one horse comes across you then you got a lot to learn
