The last race is open I like Crown Heights had a similar grass and sand rating before his last 6 sand runs. His sand rating is now 12+ better than his Turf rating and if he has just improved with racing could be under rated on Turf. I will be backing him at decent odds IMO.

Some interesting racing tonight; thoughts:

R2: Juveniles, so anything possible; looking at past form, it looks to me that the Jimmy Choo / Tommy Gun form COULD be stronger than Kandahar's form and on a line through Miss Seattle , K certainly has Space Lady beat - for my PA I'm including both K and TG
R3: Betting says the 1/2 brother to Grey's Inn (Open Verdict) is the right one, but it could be that the 1160 could be a touch on the sharp side, of the raced runners Viking Hero only needs to repeat his last run to be right there, and I think Opening Salvo comes out of a strong pinultimate run over this trip, so could place at nice odds
R4: Open looking fillies and mares maiden plate; Catraz the obvious one on her debut run, if she fails, any of Tzigane (if Striker can overcome the draw), Let's Play (improved after a rest), Lady Jallad (should lead into the last 200 from a nice draw) Orlando Magic (also has to overcome a wide draw) and Miss America (good debut and excuses in her 2nd start) can pick up the pieces.
R5: Larussa has them stone cold at the weights , but has never placed over this trip (although very well in on her run behind Malaga-Belle in June last year over this trip). Variometer obvious chance, but also has her work cut out to beat Larussa on that run behind Malaga-Belle. Ferrari Dawn also not out of it, but after Saturday I'd rather watch the Woodruff stable for now. La Volta has improved a lot recently, but is better on the sand imo and has a mountain to climb at these weights.
R6: Very nice sprint feature, I think Showmetheway is good value here, on a line through the scratched Valberg, she must have as good a chance as Royal Zulu Warrior (can he stay sound?) and Sharp Design (blinkers?)
R7: E-Jet does look to have everything going for him here; Wagner has good form over this trip, but that was much earlier in his career and the steel shoes suggest that he will need this run; Galileo's Destiny refuses to get his head in front, but could be 2nd best again here - the de Kock stable seldom sends them to the track in desperate need of a run; for a roughie I'm including Zorba's Tale in the P6 - has Snowdon held on their run behind Link Man in October last year; the rest have something to find imo
R8: Open handicap to close; Chinese Gold very nice last win coming from far back; a bad draw probably means he will have to do the same again, and the 4 kg claim will be a factor imo; Crown Heights last ran on the turf off a 73 (3 lenghts behind the useful Beta) and now races off a 69 - definite chance on that.Others with chances imo are Indian Striker (looking for 1600+ imo), the Maroun coupling and Soul Singer - on form not much between those 3 and Chinese Gold; favourite Adam's Rock also has a chance, does look to have something to find to beat Soul SInger, but may have improved with the cheek pieces.

Enjoy (tu)
