Hi Hibs,

Have seen this thread, but did not take the time to read it, and I have also not communicated with you before.

I do hope that this will inspire you to conquer your affliction.

About 10 years ago, someone close to me was diagnosed with cancer. He was a robust, healthy man.

He had to undergo chemo, and in the process he not only lost a lot of weight, but also started to lose his hair.

My brother shaved his head, but while he may have lost weight and his hair, what he did not lose, was his support group.

He spent a number of years roller coasting between been ok, and not been ok.

The reality, is that he has conquered cancer. He has regained both his hair, weight and health.
One day at a time, to a speedy recovery.

Many around us do not realise the impact such have on us. I lose no opportunity to educate people to respect and support those with disablities, afflictions, illnesses, etc.

Tomorrow, it can be you! Only then does one realise the loneliness of the road runner!
