So into that SE, am I right in saying outside draws are preferable down the straight ?

Just by looking at the form - on a line through Cap Alright, imo WaW will have to be at the top of his game to beat Cape Royal - as for Via Africa, that last run seemed pretty quick, but can we trust the time ?

One thing is for sure - it's going to be a cracking race (tu)

Its seems many clansmen may have short memories. Let me remind them: :)

Race 7, Cape Flying Championship, # 1, WHAT A WINTER; an impressive winner over his last two sprints and very classy, by far the best favourable weight advantage, hot jockey and hot trainer. Long live the King...

I have written many a long word about that horse of Driers......I certainly won't be leaving him out of anything

It was interesting that someone mentioned the similarities between Chave De Oura and JJ... Both being tried over up to mile and then brought back to sprint... I am by no means saying Chave is another JJ....:)

My Jackpot for K’sB)

Race 5- River Crossing is on good form and very versatile...worthy favourite (stable mate could surprise)...Solomon’s wall won well when trying the trip on debut and then ran a decent post maiden...must have a shout.. Maximo needs to repeat last good effort and looks to be coming on the right way....British banker may run well fresh?....Barossa Valley obvious place chance
Race 6- Antonia’s Fortress and Smart Colleen have good chances...Mari has to be included but maiden win hard to assess....Petrovsky can improve more...Internet Jet must also be included.
Race 7 – WAW is going to get strong pressure from Via Africa and Cape Royal....I will also include some outsiders for value....Cap Alright/Magico/Tetelestai and Torra Bay....this race is going to be a cracker!!!!
Race 8- what way to end the JP 8-).....nos. 1/2/3 look likely winners but please add some outsiders that you fancy!

Cheers clannersB)-

Could be a sneaker Dave, certainly hasn't disgraced himself in decent company... There are a few 3 year olds in this race that could win, its just a matter of which one is ready on the day imo... Tough race for me to pick out a winner.

Nice card today. I am in the Via Africa camp..... but only luke warm. Quite a few doubles onto it. I like Captain Siderius today at the eachway price if the jock does not go at absolute breakneck pace.
