Introduced into racing by my late dad some 35 years ago (I still remember spending some of my pocket money on Ding Dong with James Maree up winning the July); probably hooked for life.

Occupation: Computer analyst / project manager in the communications (voice mail, etc) area.

Claim to fame: Picked Asylum Seeker on the 2yr old sale in 2005; proudly raced her with my wife and 2 partners and reluctantly sold her in 2006.

Food: Sea food and juicy fillet steaks

Drink: Windhoek lager, wine

got out the game for a few years, but then renewed ownership when Graeme Hawkins invited past owners to join the R.A. syndicate.

Claim to fame : I have had reasonable success with these syndicates & had a bumper season 2005/2006
I had the good fortune to be involved with Let's Rock 'n Roll ( hence Elvisisking ) & then my good friend FRODO - Eben, offered me a share in ASYLUM SEEKER.
I have been very fortunate with these two horses, between them they have had 3 nominations for awards & I have the unusual distinction of collecting 3 trophies. 100 % strike rate - wish I could punt like this !

Horses : at present I have shares in Horses with Roy Magner & Paul Matchett.

To ALL you would be owners out there - get involved in syndicates, it's the best way to go & you don't burn your fingers on one horse. If possible take small shares in 2 or 3 horses. Syndicate members = new friends & loads of fun, you either laugh together - or cry together !

This way you also have a chance to take on the " BIG GUNS " & quite often you get to beat them with their expensive buys, which is very rewarding indeed.
