Sun is out - no rain predicted - imo track should be in tip top shape - not soft (tu)

Agreed Mr H. He is 15 points better than anything in this race although Top Command could be better than his rating. Dropped 13 points in his last 3 runs, so at that level would have been 28 points better. I thought he would open up at 3/10 so the 9/10 IMO is great value see him starting at half those odds come race time. (tu)

I received a Nagme about Canterbury Tale
i cannot get the replay of his last run but he did not have an easy passage and should have gone closer. Only concern is does he stay 2450m . Dolomite can upset

Imo as a 4 year old has not come close to his 3 yr old ratings - admittedly he has now come down and still is well clear - but just a reminder that he was twice beaten by Baracha (staring at 6/10 and 4/10 respectively) when also looking a racing certainty, and then also E-Jet did not exactly frank the form next time out - he can win wthout my money - should not miss a place, but I'm going to back him up in the PA with Go Gold.

I'm really looking forward to race 4 - as I mentioned earlier I find it hard to split La Volta, Valberg and Sharp Design, but at 8/1 the value imo is Kalaam - at worst I would have her running a 94 in her pinultimate start behind Franny - which would still make her 4 points clear of Valberg (and she also ran to that sort of rating in her last start over this 1000 back in June)

I see Catraz is now a scratching in race 3 - if I were the connections I would be asking a question or two about why she can't make the field - with all due respect, how can fillies like Velvet Lady and Zincara get into the race before Catraz?
