Roy Groendyke passes away
12 years 5 months ago
Roy passed away this morning at 7.00 after his long fight with cancer.
Love and strength to Hennie and the kids.
Roy was in the game for many years and had many winners, probably the most famous one being Divine Act
RIP my friend

Very sad news indeed. I met Roy back around 1976 with Hans and Louis Eerenstein. Spent some memorable evenings with him, Hennie, Hans, Louis Nick Avakoum and the racing clan many years back. Condolences to Hennie and the family.

Thanks titch,
Then it must have been the red, blue and white stripes? Perhaps the same colors that were worn by one of his sillies out of that great race mare A Thousand Nights?
He had most of his horses with David Ferraris.
