Could anyone assist the uninformed? Is a hold up horse one that comes from behind?

My treble for this evening :-
Stowaway X Big City Angel X Sanfoneiro (6.5/1)
Stowaway X Big City Angel X Sanfoneiro (6.5/1)
Guessing has never been widely acclaimed as a good gambling strategy.

My thinking is the horses that hit the front might be the ones to watch. Greyville got that short run in and if some horses get to far ahead i dont see them being caught.

Would have thought it depends on the pace - they go quick most of the time - allowing the others to come from behind - not sure why the feeling is that it may mostly be the case tonight?

When i first looked at the card i thought it would be a day of favourites and wasnt goign to bother with a pick 6 as i thought it wouldnt pay.
After more studies i think there could be a few upsets on the cards tonight. Gone for a relatively mid table pick 6.
1 4 5/ 1 2 3 10/ 1 2 7/ 1 4 6/ 3 5 17 18/ 2 6 7 14/
Good luck tonight to all the trainers, owners and jocks and especially the punters. Wish i could be at the track tonight.

Hell shrek, are we looking at the same card - these KZN ponies sure does confuse me :S
I know Big City Angel won very impressively last time, but that was against much weaker imo and imo not any value at current odds - Albert the danger imo having run 4 lengths behind Black Toga at level weights (and getting 3.5 kg's from BCA)
I fancied Silvan Vista last time - maybe worth another chance.
I'm going very wide in the PA (not that it helped me at the Vaal today):
1,5
1,3,5,7,11,18
2,3
1,2,4
1,8
2,3,8,11,12
6,7,8,9,14
And just in case the hotties do decide to show up:
5
1
2,3,10
1,2,4
1
1,2,5,16
6,14
Enjoy (tu)
