{deep sigh} ... Racing is a tough tough game....good shout on Magic Smoke Tommo and Dashing.... I took swingers Magic/amur/Hotel.... 2nd, 4th, 5th and the appy has Htel Royale stone last into the straight... when the front ones are not stopping ...go figure !!

It did run to a 92 on its sand run,so was not out at the weights as it appeared..........one thing I remember pver 40 years of racing................. these Xmas meetings are presents...........but not for punters.
Went very wide in PA's ......hope it pays off with a big dividend.

One of THEM races i'm afraid - can't explain that run of Tally Blue - the stable must have expected it to be better (or fitter at least) than Magic Smoke - also Follow the Piper never showed her customary pace - this is what makes racing so hard sometimes

I am suspecting that Pylon may struggle against this opposition with that weight AND gong 1600......

So should I try and get my money back with the JP - a bet which I very seldom get right - or just accept defeat and start singing Christmas Carols :S

@Rob... no matter what happens from now on in .... the minimum payout will be over R2.5k .... I just exited so rather disinterested.

I think it will pay ok but hard to see Strydom missing a place with Fall Of Troy and Crown Heights as both will be suited to today's conditions.

I took the line that he placed over 1800m in the soft(and has a pace master on top) and expect Tillman to worry him (this track is running quick and I'm looking at the balance and they all come from behind ). It would suite many of us if he ran unplaced but I can't see it.
