I had a bet on -8.5, so i was happy they kicked out and the Scots never got their hands on the ball and went to go and score a try

Spot on Ou Ryperd... Pienaar and Lambie very poor. I am not talking as individuals but as a pairing they are terrible. May as well tell our outside backs you are just there to chase and tackle and defend and tackle.

Rest in peace Kirkie
Ian Kirkpatrick, great rugby man, died suddenly at his home in Helderberg Village on Sunday. He was 82. His influence on South African rugby over six decades cannot be overestimated.
On Friday he complained of a 'stomach upset' and cancelled a meeting with an overseas company about to make a documentary on the 1974 tour, when Kirkpatrick was a national selector.
His playing career was great. He left Kimberley Boys' high and at the age of 19 and played for Griquas. The next year he went to the Springbok trials at Newlands when the great Springbok team was chosen for the 1951-52 tour. In 1953 he made his Springbok debut against the Wallabies at Newlands, playing flyhalf.
Kirkie played for South Africa in 13 Tests. Of the 13 two were lost, and on each occasion it was at Newlands (against Australia and France) and he was at flyhalf. In 10 Tests he was at centre in partnership with John Gainsford.

The point I was making was that in years gone by the players would have been fighting over the ball for the opportunity to score an additional 3 points. I thought the boks were poor and lacked direction. Too much aimless kicking and the backs were only involved in defence. Looked like the old Naas Botha Northern Transvaal pattern.
If they play like this against England they will lose.

Etzebeth cited for 'eye gouching' by Mr Mansell from England just before the test against England.....I rest my case
Had a look at the incident 14min into the 2nd half when Scotland no 10 was tackled by a few Springboks and Etzebeth tried to hold him up with his right arm around his neck and his hand holding his chin slipping up over his mouth and then Etzebeth removed his hand and the maul went down. Also notice that Laidlaw did not at all looked like he was unhappy and the game continued. Flippin pr*ck. If they ban him it will once again prove how the IRB has it's hnives in for SA

South Africa to win by 1-10 points 2/1 looks a fair bet to me...
