Always have to steal my thunder, hey :D

Interesting to see that the TT 'racing analyst' does not agree with us -9 horses in the P6, but not that one ::o

I think it might be a day for the market leaders at Turfs, less so at Durbanville where there are a few I like at bigger prices... lots of different types today, apologies for boring anyone :) Worrying that Ziets and I seem to be in some accord today, never thought that would happen lol ;)

To win, trebles and accumulator. I fear the other market leader in most of these but thought I'd give it a go...
T R1 11 Waka Waka
T R5 2 General Sherman
T R7 2 Voodoo Girl
T R8 2 Fronteno Gold

Win trebles,, e/w 4fold and accum...
T R3 8 Forward Cover
T R9 7 Formation
T R10 2 Jolly Wood
D R6 7 Jamie Lee Jet
D R8 12 Noble Star

Semi-idiots patent...
T R9 5 Vivacious Start
D R2 3 Tiger's Place
D R7 6 Oceans Swift

Idiots patent...
T R10 8 Variety Star
D R6 13 Copa De La Rey
D R8 10 Madame Rooney

Will copy to Durbanville thread. Be(s)t of luck to all (tu)

I really think Go Foxy is an bank rate place bet. Eva Tibbs and Alex Palace Pa bankers. Include the Mayhew horses in Race 7 Sparkling Saphire will be there if she stays the trip.

Clouding over already - so doubtful if we are going to get through the meeting - and very likely to be at least a few delays along the way ....

Thoughts:

R3: Eva Tibbs and Forward Cover probably enough for the PA - the Houdalakis coupling look the only dangers
R4: Obviously Alexandra Palace all the rage - for those chasing that big P6 payout, maybe consider Flawless Gem, who ran against winners last time - and either Cannon or Divine Invitation ran well below their marks that day, or Flawless Gem, Chedwin Park and For the Birds ran way above theirs - first scenario probably more likely, but just in case.....
R5: First off I thought of banking the Tarry scratching in the P6 (getting Merhee as the tote favorite), but if Merhee goes on the drift, General Sherman might end up favorite....Moon of Rangoon has the draw and comes off 2 decent runs, so could pick up the spoils if the 2 hot-pots fail...
R6: Very tough race, and the field will be a popular selection in many P6 perms - I think Quick Striker is worth another chance now that the going is not so hard
R7: Voodoo Girl not too good - but the field looks very poor and she at least stays the trip and looks certain to place - many of the others tries this trip for the first time and could upset imo
R8: Another competitive handicap - Frontino Gold better this trip imo and could prove the right one again - Egyptian keeps on running well, so obvious one for the PA imo - also Captain Haddock is a consistent place getter - now tries the blinkers so who knows. Liquid Motion could be worth another chance around the turn (did after all beat Emperor Augustus in his pinultimate run)
R9: Very open fillies handicap to close off the P6 - no sure that Formation can cope with the 8 point penalty (but stand to be corrected on that)
and Cherry on the Top has been rested, so may not be 'cherry' ripe ;), so I think horses like Magic Smoke and Rose Garden could prove value in the P6 and for the PA Mount Carmel and Vivacious Star are 'must haves' imo

Enjoy (tu)

looking at Sligtly Blonde's last run she should be first two - The draw and Jockey are an added bonus 77/100 a fixed place.
