pirates to have a three-year-old race where half the field are fillies to me means the field is not strong - How many open GR I races do you find where half the field are female?

Please excuse my igorance but plenty of these runners are just ''another'' they will end up in lower MR races ... As great a marketing strategy as it is this race doesn't excite me in the slightest.

www.chef-de-race.com/articles/timeform_highweights.htm

Pirates history shows us how many fillies/mares are in the top rated horse of all time - I have to get to number 25 to find a filly

the fillies in this race look strong than the colts, tinchey strider will win (tu)

if you look at charles laird horse for this race they both come out early and win in small fields then both seem they not train on? we will see saterday! i like rock of arts from the colts

.....judging from this years sales draught the fillies also look stronger.....but this race prize and RTR concept is pushing under developed 2YR olds on to training far too early.....however Imbongi, PJ and Igugu came from these sales and are an advertisment for horses training on.....:S
