Could not have Allesandria over the 1600 (had the Tolmay coupling) - so went out of my P6 - but only had 3 horses in the last - you guessed it, Dona Datia, Leeway and Heads Up :S

Sorry to hear about that! But if you look at the form of Aless closer, its last two starts over 2400m and 1800m, it has lead and found caught in the final stages, so theoretically the trainer should try shorten the distance like he did. Its best runs have been when it has been running on and not leading from the front, so the last two runs using this tactic eventually would have changed the views of the stable. HH was always going to be too short for this race, VS rated 84 with 58.5kg, and Aless 80 carrying 52.5...little bit of form study, luck and process of elimination, thats how i found it...Must admit that was me thinking im too clever with form study in the last, literally only looked at Silva Oak and Leeway, didnt think there could be any dangers, but we learn :)
