Race 1 :- PABLO AMERICANO comes out of a race that has produced 4 direct winners and the booking of "Striker" is significant.
Race 3 :- SUGAR RAY was working up a storm on the sand in Durban,no doubt will enjoy the surface today and Mienie will provide the strong handling needed...
@ 15/2 looks like a very nice double IMO.

This very rarely happens to me when going through form. I have looked at the 1st 3 races and all my picks have ended up being favourites.

This doesnt offer much value to my bets.

Race 1
Pablo Americano (w)
Eagle Face (p)

Pablo's last race he finished a respectable 3rd in a very tough field. 4 horses that finished behind him that day have gone on to win. 200m shorter than last race where it lost its 1st position over last 200.
Eagle face is the form horse in the race and with 2 2nds and a 3rd in 4 races and should be close to Palo.

Race 2
Radiant Wisdon (w)
Cracker Doba (p)

Radiant Wisdoms 2 2nds in last 2 races. In last race was beaten by 5.5 lengths however was 3 lengths ahead of the rest of the field. Should find this field easier.
Cracker Doba had form before last race. Eased over last 50m in last race even though it was near the front. Hasnt raced in a month so expect it to be fresh and over whatever held it back int he last race.

Race 3
Plattoon (w)
Sugar Ray (p)

Platoon with Stiker aboard will be hard to beat over this distance. Has gone past the 1800m distance so should have a good tank. I expect Strydom to take him out to the front and let him run on.
Sugar Ray Argentinian horses are bred for distance. Coming up from Natal for its 1st race on sand makes me dubious, however this horse hasnt raced in nearly 5 months. I can only assume it has been in training hard to get its maiden after so many tries and fails down in KZN.

I'm taking places on Cool Tempest at very nice odds. Improved very nicely 1st time on sand last time...

can someone please explain why sometimes they put all the scratched horses in the pa, and sometimes not at all?!?

@Filly..... if the favurite runs a place... all scratched horses go in... and I sooooooooo wanted 8 out of the placings :X

if the favourite runs in the first # you get the scratchings

Can someone tell me where Webber posts info on his runners... big price winner of the first, heavily backed 2nd in the 2nd, fav in the 3rd drifting and other runner now being backed... would be nice to know where I can find about about the prospects of his horses
