Internet problems continue so only saw the second half of the race but
1. That looked like the worst ride I've ever seen... either the saddle slipped on Countess or CP doesn't have a clue, every decision he made was seemingly wrong bordering on ridiculous
2. Well done Magi, fortunately I get a small saver on so no loser race for me, hope it was a nice earner for you (tu)

I was worried about the 'dwelt' part and soft going, although of course those dwelts were from really poor draws and may have been deliberate to get her across. This is the first time in a long time she has copped a good draw and I fear she may be slow away. Also bear in mind that Durbanville and Kenilworth chalk and cheese so I prefer to see some ability at the track. I am sure she will give you a good run for your money though !! For those reasons 4/1 is too short for me.............

FARK I AM SERIOUSLY P*SSED OFF WITH THAT!!!
Not only did it not win but the tv coverage was a disgrace, is it so difficult to get a shot as they cross the line?? COMICALLY BAD!!!!
And why have the jockeys all gone to the inside forgetting all else, no point going to the rail if there is a wall infront of you!!!! Got Pasadera into daylight far too late.

All that said the winner took a bad bump and would have been a tad unlucky but I do feel it wasn't the best horse. had decent single and nice double with Oratius on it.

Anyway, going to slope off swearing and thumping walls and see you all on the morrow....

Consolation all-ways tricast Magi, no loser and up on the day a little but still... other way would have put another 400 pounds or so in my account.
Truly, its the tv coverage that annoyed me more than anything, losing like that is never nice but tis racing and we all have to take it sometimes but there can be no excuse for not having a still-shot as they crossed the line.

Right... Vaal is now going to have to give me a healthy profit to curb my rage..... ;)
