Joking with you,im still pissed about War Poet in the Old Newton Cup.Lost 6 lenghts at the start and finished 5th beaten 2 lenghts.
Had a good ew at 33/1,it went off 14/1 and would have gone close with a decent start, passed 11 horses in the straight..
Theres always today..

I read in another thread that you had a bad day at Greyville because as you rightly state its so hard to win on these big meetings. I was just an interested viewer yesterday.

I find the races at Greyville are mostly run at a crawl early and if your not at the front or just behind
the leaders you will struggle..It would be great if betting in-running with one of the exchanges.
Not sure if they have enough volume on betfair,i will take a look today...

Only had two winning Sw bets in the First and Last races with all the others losing hopelessly. I ended the day winning small but better than losing. My selections were so bad all day that I changed my mind as I was placing my Sw bet via the Internet in the last and played 1 * 9 instead and luckily it paid R15.40 a shot, should of taken the Exacta.
Lots of hard luck stories not only in the July but also in other races as well. I think this is the first time that I have ended up a winner on a July card, and that from 1966. That is why I just had to post this s--t.
