Is a tough race but I really like Phalaborwa Express the appy gets on well with him ran a short head beind Rose Lorraine over C & D and is better off without the appy allowance. Make it between these 2 and only have the 2 in my PA. With the heavy track today we must tread with caution.

I thought Viking Empire was the stable elect but thought Ladbroke would be there to ensure the right pace.. and under the conditions and with young Smitsdorf riding thought there was a chance that Ladbroke would stay in front.... ... worked that one out wrong and knew so after 300m's.
