Hi clanners here the top tips for clairwood. I am including the P6 today along with PA, JP and best bets and value bets

Best Bets

Race 1 (2) Choir Maiden 6-10 (Very short price but will win. She was very slow on debut and will improve here and has the services of Anton Marcus. There is talk about the Alexander runner Tina's Trip but will need further as far as i am concerned. BIG RUNNER!!!!!!)

Race 2 (14) The Hangman 7-2 (Now this horse i like, he ran in a feature last time out against a horse that is bound for Dubai. He now races in a maiden juvenile and has the engagement of Anton Marcus. Its his first run as a gelding so will be a big improver here. BIG RUNNER at that price)

Race 7 (1) Tribal Dance 12-10 (This horse will absolutely KAK in far as i am concerned. He has run against Jackson twice and Variety Club once and they are the best horses in the country by a country mile. And that was over a distance way too short as he showed when he ran last time out over 2400. RACE OVER!!!!!!!!)

Race 9 (1) Blouberg Beach 18-10 (Another i like strong. She won a minor feature last time out and against male rivals. With that she only got a 3 pound penalty which is not enough to stop her. BIG BIG RUNNER!!!!!!!!)

Value Bets

Race 3 (1) Dawn Eclipse 5-1 (I dont think she enjoys scottsville that much and is much better than her last run. Will be there. Take the 11-10 place. Great Value with your all to comes)

Race 4 (4) Maluti 6-1 (This is my lurker and he raced wide around the bend last time and ran on strong should have finished much closer. His 2nd run from a lay off so should be much fitter today and has a longer straight so draw not a worry. Take with all horses above and mix around with doubles)

Race 5 (10) Radiant Rock 12-1 (His last 2 runs have been way too far for this son of Rock of Gibraltar. He is back over 1600 in which he has a tremendous record only problem is the rest of 3 months but i am sure alexander will have him fit and ready non the less and has stable jock and HOT in form Robbie Fradd riding)

Race 8 (2) Razzle Dazzle Rose 4-1 (The breeding of this filly suggests she will relish this extra 2 furlongs on her last run which was not bad against some nice sorts. This is a BIG RUNNER)

Do think Shogunnar can handle the track conditions - I see there was rainfall in the past few days

I watched USO and listened to Albie Going about Taipan. I am ready to change my selection from Shogunnar to Taipan. Concerned that Shogunnar will get the trip comfortably...

the way kzn season has gone,with cape stables cleaning up, it would be silly of me to go against the cape stables.match race between tribal dance and taipan and enions horse to run into money

LOL... Okay with you Pir... I disagree in fact imo Shogunnar more comfortable with the trip than Taipan... Race will tell I suppose...

I had strong doubts about Taipan, but stable do not think so...
