someone mentioned something about planned carry-overs, today's results at both centres make the argument believable.............

I mentioned it as a passing comment on some sparse undocumented observation.
However the ring does exist in my ear of carry overs and getting the pools up for big race days.
Same as taking the money of socialite once-off punters on big race days...
Perhaps the euphoria of winning blinds the memory, and the reality of expensive losses rivets the bad experience. Good for business
