magic you watch today . The horse he beat will win by a street at turfies . Jamal ran his best races up the straight in kzn . His worst races where over 7 furlongs down there and yet he won easily at turffies .
To me it just does not add up !

As a punter i have to take it on trust that every horse is a tryier and that it will give of its best .
It's more like a lottery at present .

Magic jokes aside, I think it is close to that....:

Greg - in the winter, maybe. I don't think it's quite sunk that low in the better (greener) months, but the number of trainers who are packing up for pastures new is becoming a little alarming, even if some of them do leave a satellite yard behind in Gauteng. (e.g. De Kock, Spies).

Maybe its just me but I get more excited by a midweek UK meeting than the Vaal rubbish...()

Thank God its not the chariot racing else I would have to see a shrink....

Maybe chariot racing is an acquired taste. I've just never acquired it.

I was just about to take your Best bet and eachway for today's 2 meeting in an atc, now I see Rudra is a non runner....
