I really like a big roughy tonight. I backed it at 33/1 and 5,4/1 a first 4 before it was claimed. Masaveru in Race 8 is a blinker strike has a tongue tie on and an appy claiming 4kg's, she is also well drawn at 2. Her first run at Greyville was an excellent effort beaten 5,25 by Winged Foot who looks to be going in the right direction. Miss Maddie's race was also on the same night and if you look at the lenghts behind on Formgrids for the 2000 meters that night you will see what an impressive run Masaveru had carrying 58kg's. At 20/1 I would not leave her out of any plays as she will make the exotics pay if she comes in.

If Bambino Stripes runs anything of her CT form , then she will take a power of beating regardless of the step up in class. 5/1 is NICE value.(tu)

Have taken the following ATC into Kenilworth tomorrow Bambino Stripes (place)/She's Got it (place) / Act of Faith (win) 7/1

Happy Racing!!!

Apart from Never Forever, none of Dennis Drier's horses that went to Cape Town have run to their best form since they returned to KZN, so I'd be a bit wary.

Agreed Magic , but I took special interest in this filly while in the Cape and I know the stable rate her as well above average.

made the same observation..alberts daughter scratched..any improvement from national palace and she should win..28/10 looks good value..and 15/10 desert raptor looks good too..although petite master having first run in kzn has extremely good form from the maiden win..
