take into account distance aptitude - sprint, medium and stout. Some families and lines are better for some distances. But nowadays in any case breeding is done for maximum short time ROI, which means mature at 2 and racing. Cannot wait for maturity at 5 or 7 and over longer distances.

sadly the affinity cross will be gr8 but range bound to a mile Trippi's genome and genetics peg him to no more than a mile and as we know National Assembly has a similar genome

My good mate, Emcee, was under bidder on Franny. Having a definite case of unders-remorse.

Yes, was like taking a paper clip to a gunfight. He went to 250k, one doesn't know who is in the ring with you.

Van Zyl become a powerful yard in a short time. It isn't easy to do, hats off.

Of course it works. But its not up to the genes to decide how much heart the horse has.

More likely than not.
But we are yet to breed the Master Race...
Breed them in a petrie dish choosing your chromosomes and you stand a better chance.
Its still more of an art than a science.

How dare these people from trying to exploint Trippi just because is looks like the greatest thing since sliced bread. Sure, he has sired more stakes winners than any other new sire in South Africa and sure most of them can run, but not ALL of them can run! These people should be truthful and talk about those Trippis that cannot run....if they can actually locates these horses!
