I asked the same in another thread, and apparently they have used the Piggs Peak
ruling (which was for interactive gambling, not exchanges) to justify booting out all
South African customers. There is no actual ruling against Betfair.

I thought that they had sorted that out in 2010 & Pigs Peak is not the only online casino operating in S.A.
Looks like these laws only apply to selected people.
2) The law spicifically stated "online gambling" i.e. casinos not sports betting.

I only had an account to check prices and volumes, not to bet with.
I am sure all bookmakers have a Betfair account to do the same.
