Robbie Blair was a good kicker for WP. The best South African born fly half was Gavin Cowley. Two reasons why he was disgarded by the Boks is that he was from EP and was English speaking and he would not call the coaches Oom.

De Wet Ras Free State, early Naas Botha era also kicked quite well,the first guy to slot over those 55/60 m penalties.

Johnny was the hardest tackling fly half out of all the above,
He was fearless,thats why he had so many injuries.
If he wasnt so brave he would have been well clear on scoring records.
