i also think african giant is his best for today but that race is a toughie for me so it wont be a bet for in my books.
i was just as confident about his best 4 horses mid week countess isabella, chebourg, savannah leigh or probably the best of the 4 african airways and they all disappointed!how on earth could all 4 not feature/perform?infact they ran piss poor.
i hope for all his connections that his stable come through today atleast with african giant.

Crystal, that was taken from Mikes Website... Reading between the lines I think he is expecting a HUGE run from English Garden as well... Maybe tread carefully with his runners today if you feel their might be something amiss in the stable??

PS. Savannah Leigh is looking for 2000m + .... watch when she goes this distance;)

i know i am on the wrong thread to suggest an overseas bet...but the 2 hotties today in cheltenham....have bigger fish to fry later on in the season...so todays races are formalities....both are short....so this is for the jolly punters..HINTERLAND(4/10) AND OSCAR WHISKEY(4/7)...BOTH WILL WIN EASY....

I'm also in the Drill Sargeant camp, although I reckon Drumminor can also improve over the extra ground and is worth chucking into tifectas, quartets, and the like.

I make Punta Del Este a bigger runner, but that last run could flatter him a bit as he was not going hard up front and I thought they went a very moderate pace for a sprint of that quality. They will go like the absolute clappers today - which is what Howdoyoulikemenow thrives on. Add him into all calculations!

u right,my gut feeling tells me to stay away from his stable today.it might be the wrong decision but if it is ill be okay with it because it was my choice.
btw..if you go back to the thread of wed's meeting i posted m w bass pre race comments on the 4 horses i mentioned earlier and they were all positive/with very good chances for that day.

so my open question is what makes today any different from past wednesday with regards to his stable's poor performance then?

ill rather enjoy from a distance with a lekka peroni draught :)-D

Know nothing Jakes, its a decent coupling and Pergamon Alter looks to be coming back to form imo.... I'm willing to take a chance for a small outlay on a p6....:)
