She was four or five pounds below it, I reckon, but I agree with Soodum's explanation. These very slow run races can be frustrating to handicap, even when they produce the "right" result.

IMVHO - I had a few anxious moments in the home straight, because she seemed to take ages to get to Trinity House. Great ride from Marcus on that one.

All the function rooms were full and a great day was had by all.......well done to Avontuur.
Very interesting reading are the tote turnover figures....GC turnover on the WC R5523753 vs Turffies today R3091194 and both had pick 6 carryovers.....WC stand alone meeting and Turffies with Dbn.....who did R2802847 today......

@ Hotline
.............with Dbn.....who did R2802847 today......
Yeah -still a good figure without any carryover and the doubt whether the meeting would take place.
Well Done to WC racing .........good turnover......and excellent racing with top quality horses.

GC Dbn did that....the point i really wanted to make is give the WC a stand alone meeting and the turnover can be done...albeit with a bit of a boost for the pick 6....as u said, top horses and top racing yday.
