I am pretty confident it was Clyde, maybe ask him or watch the video. It was many moons ago but it would be nice to find out.

@shezi
Tuesdays was PP's shortest winning victory.
Curious.Is PP the only successful expensive purchase?

Pretty sure it was Heming's Kwiktan (not sure on the spelling). I don't know exact winning distance, but it was an incredible margin of victory.

@Doyen,
Lol, I know buddy, I was just making a joke as I expected Potala to win by atleast 6 lengths, hence my ironic comment!I'm not sure about the only successful expensive purchase,
But he is a fine looking individual, and is my horse to follow

Horse Chestnut won by a huge margin too. And didn't Azzie have a recent one win by over 15 lengths too? About 2 years ago

The longest winning margin I can recall was Milkwood (in the oppenheimer colurs) winning methinks the Gold Bowl at Turffontein.... 19 lengths.

Hey Dave,
Yes I did, I remember saying "switch your binoculars right here comes Divine Act" (those days everyone at the races carried a pair of binocs), and so he won by 16 or so on the extreme outside. What a horse!
Well done Harris this is from Clyde, Hawkeye says he could not recall? Also spoke to the owner and he also thought it was Graeme, but mind u he drinks as much as me......lol

About 30 years ago a horse with the appropriate name of Come Running, trained by H J Schoeman, won a sprint (!!) at Scottsville by either 24.25 or 24.75 lengths. She was ridden by the late Grant Kotzen, if I recall.
