I was in that army and I'm proud of it. At least the SADF soldiers then were disciplined and well trained, not toy-toying pension seeking masses.

Gen Malan believed in what he deemed right, just as much as we have a Government today that equally believes in the right (well.... mostly in the left!).

It is within our realms that we promote respect and understanding so that there is a better chance of a future for all of us without enmity, hatred and name-calling!

Who knows, tomorrow, there might be a 'different' belief in what a God gives our people (leaders) to understand as right....... and it might turn out to be RIGHT!
