After having all this discussion about the 2nd, just had a call from JHB, Strydom will win the 2nd.
I am still talking to him whilst typing ( that's a first for me). .

both 1st n 2nd in the first race ran against club captain (the 9 lark of dawn ran unplaced now).... does that give club captain a chance in the 2nd after a maiden win?
