I could be wrong but I remember reading somewhere that in staying races they handicap at 3mr points = 1kg. If you look at the Gold Vase on July day this system was used aswell.

Arrived at the track smashing facilities and the first guy I met after Sheldon peters was paul laff! Is that an omen lol
