Pia is the best singer in the competition (and she's a belt-er). It could be said that Jacob is up there with her but the difference is the wagging chin. Pia pulls vibrato without moving her chin which shows absolute control.

They are the best singers granted but they are both pretty boring in terms of the overall entertainment value. Pia very much in the mould of miss America and Jacob just another R&B / Gospel singer.

Casey has the something completely different to offer and is still the winner in my book!

In my book Casey isn't in the same division as Pia, James and Scotty.

Pia has a great voice and is technically the best singer and Scotty knows how to do his country thing but in terms of combining performance, voice, stage presence and entertainment James Durbin is streets ahead of anyone there...

Scotty will appeal to the Hill Billy's which are in the majority if the winner (Kevin Skinner) of America's got Talent a few seasons ago is anything to go by. But then again Clint Black was hammered on the Apprentice by one of the clients who said that country does not appeal to the masses of America.

James is brilliant. His only problem is that he is a season or two too late. Adam Lambert has done that act already. James is pretty much out of the same mould as the bi sexual / homosexual screamer Adam Lambert.

I listen to a lot of blues, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Howling Wolf, Lightning Hopkins and of course the products of these legends, Led Zepplin the Doors, Pearl Jam etc. The common link between all of these great lead men of these bands is that they sang/sing from a different place. Structure means nothing. It's all done with a unique understanding of music, a unique connection to the deeper meaning. Casey is in tune with this!

Googled the result Tommy - See my assessment on this contestant above. I cant say that I am too shocked, although there are others who I expected to go first.

She may not have been the best performer but she was technically 100 lengths ahead of anybody else in the compo....didn't deserve to go, but hey neither did Jeniffer Hudson, Fantasia, Chris Daughtry......She will be just fine
