I was well impressed with the coverage yesterday. It shows that whining eventually does pay off. More importantly though, it proves that racing is about more than just punting, it is a sporting event. People who cannot make the event at least want to see decent coverage on TV. Covering the event fully creates a desire to want to be there at some point in the future. I believe the work that goes in to the Queens Plate and bares testiment to this and you can see the improvement each year. This is only made possible by exposing the public to it in the way it was done on T Track yesterday.

Well done again to Jono Snaith and all the organisers. You have created a desire to want to be there and I have set a personal goal to make it to this event. This is what racing is about.
