So much easier liking and not liking horses when you don't have any type of investment

tommy look at all the top people in the world and they all have a few things in common with arrogance been one of them along with self opinionated and narcissism to go along with it. Mind you that can be said of the wannabes as well.

Perfectly fine as long as he doesn't stay on the rail.

I feel like with the horses he is able to ride he should win around about 60% of his rides, but he has these absolutely mystical brain farts and rides like a numpty.
I don't care if he is arrogant, narcissistic or any other funny name, for me it is all about his race riding sometimes.

Splash Point stuns Zanzamar supporters
Racing Post
Report: UAE, Thursday
Meydan: UAE 2,000 Guineas (Group 3) 1m, AW, 3yo
SPLASH POINT (Mahmood Al Zarooni/Mickael Barzalona) reversed last month's form to inflict a costly defeat on the heavily backed favourite Zanzamar in the UAE 2,000 Guineas at Meydan on Thursday.
The runner-up, representing the all-conquering Mike de Kock, was made 4-6 favourite with British bookmakers after beating Splash Point a length in the designated trial at Meydan three weeks ago.
This time around, however, it was Splash Point who had a length in hand at the line after a last-to-first victory that provided both trainer and jockey with their fourth victory at this year's carnival.
Mickael Barzalona, who has really impressed this year at Meydan, was seen to excellent effect again here as he swung the son of Street Cry, a winner at Kempton last term, out wide with what proved tobe a winning challenge.
Trainer Mahmood Al Zarooni said: "It is great to win my first UAE Classic and I am just so grateful to everyone. Splash Point ran very well from a bad draw last time and we hoped he would go closer this time."
Zanzamar may have been a shade unlucky under Richard Hills, though, as he was impeded in the straight as he looked for a run between horses before being switched to the rail.
Krypton Factor took third forBahrain in the $250,000 contest but the Clive Brittain-trained Abjer faded in the straight after racing prominently .
Meydan: Firebreak Stakes (Listed) 1m, AW, 4yo+
TRAINER Mike de Kock and Christophe Soumillon, in unstoppable form earlier on the card, suffered a reverse when UAE Derby winner Musir was beaten by Skysurfers (Saeed Bin Suroor/Frankie Dettori) in the Firebreak Stakes at Meydan on Thursday.
The Godolphin five-year-old and Musir both looked menacing as they joined issue a furlong out asthe leaders fell into a heap in the $175,000 contest.
Dubai World Cup hope Musir may have been sent off 6-4 favourite with British bookmakers but he was handled with noticeable tenderness in the final furlong on his first outing for more than ten months.
In contrast, Frankie Dettori was more vigorous on 15-1 chance Skysurfers, who had won the corresponding contest on his Meydan debut 12 months previously, on that occasion flooring De Kock's Eagle Mountain.
Bin Suroor said: "The fast pace has suited him and Frankie did everything right. The Godolphin Mile is the target."
De Kock didn't fare too badly, though. Not only did Musir run a fine race in second, but Imbongistayed on for third in a Listed race where the luckless Bankable met trouble in running on the home turn when he was looking to move up from the rear under Ryan Moore.
Somewhat overshadowed by De Kock and Soumillon in the last couple of weeks, the Godolphin duo of Bin Suroor and Dettori now have seven and five winners respectively at the 2011 carnival.
Soumillon leads the way among the jockeys with eight winners after landing his second treble in two weeks on Thursday's card, while De Kock's double took him into double figures with ten.
The pair teamed up with Hunting Tower and Golden Sword, while Soumillon also scored on the Robert Cowell-trained Prohibit.

Also hoping River Jetez comes home lonely out in front. She's surely better than a 107?
