Yes Tommy, he was with Yvette Bremner. They punted him heavily on his debut but he completely refused to go down to the start. I think the jockey (Herholdt, if I recall) came off three times and climbed on again three times before they gave up and scratched him. The second time he made it to the gates, went in - and then shot out again without the jockey and bolted the course riderless. Scratched again. He clearly needs help, but that handler yesterday helped for just a moment too long I guess. The unfortunate thing is that months of hard work trying to get the horse's mind right could have been completely undone in that one instant yesterday. I hope for their sakes I'm wrong, but heaven only knows what will happen next time or even how many next times there can ever be.

An absolute nightmare when you know they can run.
