One thing that amazes me is that I didn't read anywhere beforehand that Ebony Flyer, who is far from being a sprinter, dusted Covenant in their respective debut race. This is what we call a "key race" in America and a major pointer as to the outcome of today's race.
This completes a fantastic month of us, the best in years.
It is even bigger than usual, because we own a half-brother that will be sold at the Cape sale next month, we own the dam, we have another young sibling, we have the Guineas-winning half-sister in Captain's Lover, and some other relatives as well.
