Jake Payne has just turned 20 years of age, but is a very experienced horseman with several years of showjumping riding experience behind him. With 2 years of work riding in various racing yards and 38 flat rides, Jake has now hit the winning trail three times!
An impressive 1 length win on Caustic Wit to open his account.
Two recent wins on Lordship (a 2 lengths winner at Chepstow
for Tony Carroll and several placed efforts give Jake impressive stats for the 2009 turf season.
Jake is currently apprenticed to Malcolm Saunders and has an impressive 12% strike rate so far this 2009 season. With no weight problem (Jake can easily do 8st 0lb and 7st 11lb with notice) Jake can take a useful 7lb off your handicapper. Jake is great value in 10 and 25 winner apprentice races, where currently on 3 winners, he gets a more than useful claim against less experienced rivals.

Thanks CNC. Will include in a multiple. Will throw in Ella Rassa at Greyville tomorrow night for the quad. Heard Ella Rassa was unbeatable last time. We got 7/1 and she got touched of in a photo finish. Won't lose tomorrow.
