It's much easier to make a horse loose, than to make it win - words from a jockey

i still think, that precedent nees more ground. but he also needs a fast race, thats why some of the 2000 and 2400 are too slow

Another competitive card at the Big T tonight; thoughts:
R3: Potential nightmare start to the PA; The Best Overall now on the drift and although out of a well performed mare, there must be some doubt whether a runner by Fort Wood out of a staying mare has the speed to feature over a sprint? Best in the West may turn out to be the best 'Best' in the race, but a few other first timers are shortening in the betting - could be wise to load up (Also strange that Time Rolls On who finished 4 lengths behind Igugu on debut, can't get a run here - I would be on the phone to the handicappers were it my horse?)
R4: My first choice was Zondernaam who is now scratched, leaving a lot of maybe's and first timers - I think I need a pin
R5: MR 68 handicap - say no more - joint favorite Tobrusky was beaten by Marco Spitz (14/1) last time - reach for that pin again
R6: Some classy fillies - no way did Dancewiththedevil ran to an 80 last time and I think she is well in here; money for Tree of Perfection, but she is held on their last meeting by Stella Mia - while Gluwein could improve with blinkers
R7: A competive filles handicap ; not easy but I think this is between Carey's Qui and Pure Silver
R8: Another fillies handicap - hard to figure out how Coastal Cabaret can be rated higher than Sacred Feminine who seems the obvious one - Qui Duel has a place chance over this trip
R9: Should be between Saint Enough and the well supported Captive Action
Play well
