Well the result of race 5 makes a bit of a mockery of the merit ratings of the runners - wonder how the handicapper will see this result (Western Front was out by as much as 16 pounds with Fenerbache and 15 pounds with Iron Wood) - either Western Front is a super champion (and according to the trainer was not even at his best), or Fenerbache (let's assume for the moment Iron Wood ran a 'flat' race in his 2nd run after a long rest) is overrated by many points:S

That's actually happened to me before. I bet on only two horse in the July and they dead heated. Remember Pocket Power and Dancer's Daughter dead heating. One of my favourite horse racing memories.

There is not a single doubt in my mind that Fenerbache is overrated. How long must this poor horse go without winning before his rating will be sufficiently dropped?
