This thread certainly needs to be referred to the gambling board.A few issues are worthy of investigation.

Yip - maybe I'll give them a call and find out if there are any rules governing online bookmakers. In the meantime how can we feel sympathetic to bookmakers - in Durbanville race 2 punters are bidding to 102% !
100% is bookmakers over-round mark - meaning anything over that they can bet without a loss. No sympathy - take no prisoners boys !

Ruffian not sure i or you understand the % you write above are you complaining about bookies betting to 102%?

It's time they heard from others (and got a wee bit educated)!

I'm not complaining at all - just illustrating that when there are BIDS at over 100% on interbet it means that bookmakers can go overround. Just saying that they have it easier than us - we can't start feeling sorry for them.

Do i look like a big punter to you Harris ?

Two points need clarification for me.

Ruffian is accused of pissing off bookmakers with his style....I am trying to understand how you place a bet,with ANY style,on-line? The most impersonal form of betting yet!

However I guess that Ruffian also knows what has caused him to fall out of favour....come clean and tell mate.

I tend to win Rob. I like backing fancied or hot or form horses. That appears to be a problem. I have never bet on credit and I have never been rude to anyone.

I tend to believe that anyone betting with bookmakers is trying to rape them. Lets be honest, how many of us enjoy giving a bookmaker a f_ _ k. Ruffy, sorry to get personal. I remember many years ago on the Cape Town racecourse a bookmaker who was extremely rude and nasty to everyone on the floor. He got all the business because everyone wanted to beat him. If we are not trying to punnish,hurt,rape or stick out our bookmaker then what would be the purpose of it all ? One cannot win money without hurtintg them.

Apology accepted. But all I'm out to do is show a profit, I don't want to hurt anyone. I would love it if a bookmaker showed me enough respect to take back some of my bets.
