.....seems that this horse has a bit of scope to be a graded race earner....Lyle won a Gr2 over 1800 last time out....
Galore Creek won 1st time out as a 2yr old late November last year(NH bred and now a 3yr old) this race was only his 5th start and is the Japanese equivalent to the 2000 Guineas....the sire Kinshasa No Kiseki a son of Fuji Kiseki was a double group 1 winner winning the same 1200m race at the age of 7&8....really like the genetics of this fella and a pity Lyle cannot stick around for the future Japanese Classics.....;)

.....this race was the 1st leg of their triple crown....and although the sire of Galore Creek was a proven sprinter.... Galore Creek has a stout stayer pedigree in the damline.... and the way he was finishing over 2000m the Japanese Derby 2400 may be just up his ally......:unsure:

Lyle just won the TOKYO HAI AOBA SHO(G2). This is a grade 2 race.

He has booted home a treble!!!!
