There is a rumor that Goldman Sachs is considering putting together a new trading outfit for cryptocurrencies.
If true, however, this is more than just another example of Wall Street and bitcoin getting closer.
The report does stress that Goldman may eventually pass on the project. Yet even if it does, it is indicative of an increasing acceptance in the upper echelons of finance that bitcoin is not going away, and that there is money to be made.

Hey guys. I am so happy you are having this discussion, right up my alley.
I purchased my first bitcoin when the price was at R6000, this was in 2015. Currently, it is sitting at R65000.
Bitcoin is a currency, and yes, it is a real thing! More real than the fiat we pretend to have any value. It is not a ponsey scheme. It cannot be controlled, for now, it is not controlled by anyone. Yes, you can buy pretty much anything - www.bidorbuy.co.za/ - with it.
I personally have lived my life over the last two years using Bitcoin as my base currency. So I use that as my savings. I can sell bitcoin for rands as easily as I can buy bitcoin with rands.
Bitcoin is a crypto-currency - a crypto-currency is something that comes from Blockchain technology. Blockchain can be categorised as a form of internet, and bitcoin is a form of a website or web service like facebook.
Bitcoin is built on a blockchain. Personally, blockchains is where the real money is because we are talking about life changing systems:
Let me offer some value and answer all your guys questions you have on bitcoin, crypto-currency, and blockchain... a few good investment tips too.

With regards to investment, check out - coincap.io/ - lists the top/popular/existing/available digital assets (cryptocurrencies/tokens/assets). You can pretty much trade the top 30 or so coins yourself on multiple different platforms.
As an example.
