Former Tottenham player and Brighton manager Chris Houghton appointed as new Forest manager

Well, the first sacking in the top four divisions for the new season has happened Thursday last. Chris Hughton sacked and Forest is looking for their 18th manager in ten years. Steve Cooper has seemingly closed the bookies’ books with a current price of 1/20.
Other chaps who were in the running were my choice Eddie Howe, Chris Wilder, John Terry, Frank Lampard, Roy Keane and a few Germans and Austrians.
Until Saturday last, Forest were without a win in seven matches having lost six and drawing one. On Sat they won away managerless at Huddersfield.
Oh well.
