Radaba
Morkel

Piedt to go along for more team experience as the pitch has to be for quicks.
Van Zyl or Cook not to play if they think they might need some spin in that case Duminy

No Du Plessis? He did score runs.

Nope, give him a wake up call. Save him for the one dayers as this Van Zyl has something about him. I have been a cricket fan for long enough to spot the good uns. He is one that will go far but he has to take this chance otherwise they will drop him thus last chance saloon for now as will Radaba who imo will get 500 test wickets by the time the curtain comes down on his career.

I do agree with you on both the players. Van Zyl is a talent of note. The one other talent that is going to take us far in cricket is Russouw. He excites me and I believe he can do well in tests, not just odi and T20.

yes I almost forgot about Roussouw. That knock in the odi v WIndies at the Wanderers was brilliant but was over shadowed by ABs knock.

Selectors have stuck with the same 16 so Philander remains injured and no place for Cook. In a way I am happy that they are sticking with Van Zyl as he has got loads of talent

The best horse doesn't always win the race.

Not to speak on Neigh's part but I did feel a bit upset aswell if he meant what I read.... Basically he played the BIG "race" card.... Not in terms of him giving up his captaincy, but cricket in sa in general. He basically said its much harder and more pressure cause you don't have a white skin and all eyes are on you...... Didn't quote what he said, but that's basically it in a nutshell.

Terrible from a true icon in SA cricket imo...... :(

But he is right? No? Look at all the headlines when bavuma made his 100? 1st BLACK south african to do so!! Its no secret that in SA cricket race has and will always be a looming factor.

I think the headlines were right to make it a huge point.Hopefully that will inspire young black South Africans to try and become top cricketers..
Let's hope Bavuma does it again and become a regular pick.

Guys we are building a new nation and statements like this just keep putting us back. If I have to go into how white kids are being discriminated against at school level in all forms of sport I can keep on typing for days. This is a direct cause of the depth we lack today in all forms of sport in SA. Instead of building and being possitive there is always more negatives and that is sad.

During the lunch break on the 5th day they showed how Gary Kirsten is going to schools in Khyelitsa to coach. He has had nets erected and the interest shown by the kids is huge.
