Hahaha. Worked last night aswell :lol: I have even taken a sabbatial on the ponies, my luck has been so poor lately....

I have not had a bet on the horses for a couple of weeks now. Its nice not to waste money on the horses anymore. I have won a little on sports betting which is nice.

Its going to be interesting to see who England select next test should Anderson be fit... Woakes brings a bit of batting capabilities with him, but imo Finn much better bowler. Was Finn just a late addition to the tour or was he nursing an injury and selectors just were not sure if he would get fit intime?

Anderson can only get wickets if he is playing against the likes of the West Indies or if its overcast. So if there is a small cloud hanging around within 10 miles of Newlands he will play.

I was close to taking a bet on Finn being top wicket taker of the series (as previously mentioned), I didn't though, as my only concern was that he wouldn't play all the games.

Unfortunately Steyn as we know could not bowl in the 2nd inning and if he did who knows SA may only have been chasing around 330. We will never know so I would not give up on them. The bowled England out twice in the match so the bowling department looks ok. Batting is the obvious thing that has let the team down and on a fast paced Newlands track they will come into their own again. Still the remainder of this test plus 3 to go so all to play for.

Lets hope that it pisses down with rain tomorrow and the pump to get the water off the field is broken and that all the guys required to sweep the water away over sleep :whistle:
