Another decent effort by Celtic Rumours in 2nd.
Didn't bother to post about Exceeder or Elusive Hunter as they looked chanceless and ran accordingly.

One runner at Greyville on Saturday.
Golden Tatjana runs in the dash race 1. She was badly off form in CT after an excellent juvenile season. The time off since January will have done her the world of good.
She is very quick and I think is a massive price at 25/1. Pray for Rain is the one to beat.

One runner at Kenilworth on Sunday. Flying Bomb in race 3. Very disappointing on debut when slow away and never got into the race. Hopefully will have learnt from that, and should enjoy the step up in trip. Has a decent draw and could make the quartet pay if he can run into the money at long odds.

To be fair, GT was not straight out the gates and a bit intimidated by the horses on either side, and of course by then the race was run...

Flying Bomb some improvement but still below expectations.

One runner at Greyville on Wednesday. Common Grounds runs in race 9. Returns to KZN after an abortive visit to the Cape. Tries the poly and drops back in trip to 1200m and has had a 3 month break. However, gets Fourie and plum draw, so if fit and if acting on the poly, must have a chance as he is a fair sort. An open race where the well drawn Yannakis and Voldemort have claims together with the wider drawn Turbo Power and Rosh Kedesh.

Facile win by Common Grounds. Has clearly matured and strengthened up over the past few months, and is looking very progressive. Good job by the Moore team.

One runner at Vaal on Thursday. Aussenkher runs in race 7. Carries a big weight in a very competitive field. He is very consistent so can never be ignored, but looks a tough task. The filly Wings Within Me is handily weighted. Richard the First and Dr Faustus are improving 3yos. Prophet has tumbled in the ratings and will pop up one of these days. Black Egret is a hard knocker.

Aussenkehr faded badly.

One  runner at Fairview on Friday. Mhlabeni in race 5. Looks a match race between Grazinginthegrass and Cherry Ano.
He could squeak a minor place at best.

One runner at Fairview on Tuesday.
*Elusive Mata in race 3. She hasn't been the most consistent, but ran well last time in a similar contest, and if repeating that effort should again fight out the finish. Decent ew value at 6/1. If Storm Boulevard acts on the poly then he is the one to beat. These maiden handicaps can throw upsets.
